Position Overview: The Sales Executive & Account Manager position is responsible for direct client contact. This position’s role is to work with clients directly by assisting with order entry and informing them of Event Essentials product offerings and services available.

We are searching for outgoing applicants who are proactive and passionate about company products and the clients they serve. Account managers will act as a point of contact for their clients. They will build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with their contacts. They also aid internal departments by collecting information, such as sales leads as well as help to identify industry trends.

To succeed in this position, candidates should have exceptional communication, computer, and problem-solving skills. You should be resourceful, analytical, adaptable, and organized with the ability to build rapport with clients.

Position Tasks & Activities:

  • Build lasting and trustworthy relationships with clients to ensure all needs are understood and addressed
  • Answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers
  • Provide written event price estimates according to established procedures using rental software
  • Maintain price quotes and rental reservations
  • Execute site visits when needed via company's sales vehicles
  • Obtain all permits necessary to complete the event
  • Produce a computer-generated layout of event when necessary
  • Communicate all event details with internal staff to ensure proper and efficient execution
  • Maintain contact with client prior to event to verify all details are accurate and coordinate any necessary changes
  • Follow up with client post-event if applicable
  • Maintain open communication with management
  • Help identify areas of improvement/opportunity to meet sales quotas
  • Identify industry trends, and recommendations of new inventory items
  • Keep sales area clean, organized, and tidy
  • Work closely with other account managers
  • Report safety violations to supervisor
  • Fill in for other positions, when necessary, for smooth operation of the business
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations in written or verbal form

Organizational Involvement:

Weekly meetings with Sales Manager to discuss questions and upcoming event and round table discussions with all sales staff. Continuous feedback on client needs and inventory adjustments to inventory that may be needed.

Hourly pay rate with possible overtime during peak season

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
